DESCRIPTION:Meeting at Magdalena Street & Walnut Lane (639 Walnut Lane)\nDistance: 4 miles\nDifficulty Level: Difficult (many inclines and declines\, uneven surfaces)\nAudience: Ages 12+\nParking: There is plenty of parking in the lot on across from the Walnut Lane Golf Club.\nRestrooms: The bathrooms at Walnut Lane Golf Club will be available to use at the start and end of our hike. \nJoin Debbie\, Jim\, and Terry on a mid Spring hike. There is so much to see in terms of flora at this time of year\, including some spring ephemerals! We’ll observe what the frogs are doing at the frog pond\, as well as learn why the frog pond is there. Crossing 2 bridges\, we’ll see some points of historical interest. Our route is about 4 miles and we expect to spend about 3 hours on the trails. \nThe hike includes some rocky terrain\, including a particularly rocky downhill\, so be prepared. Children 12 years of age and older are welcome when accompanied by an adult\, but please—no dogs except for service animals. \nRegistration is required for all events so that participants can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations. Unless otherwise specified\, Trail Ambassador Walks may be on rocky\, rugged trails that may be wet and slippery. Wear sturdy shoes or boots with socks. Walks are cancelled in heavy rain or icy conditions. Service animals are always welcome. Whether performing crowd favorites or stripped-down classics\, they bring warmth\, professionalism\, and passion to every stage they step on. \nAllie Boyle\, a proud Fallser born and raised\, discovered her love of music singing just up the street at St. Bridget’s\, where she still sings regularly. A professional singer and actor\, Allie performs locally in theater productions\, at sporting events\, acoustic duos\, and as a vocalist with The Slippery Band. In addition to performing\, she is a dedicated voice teacher\, helping the next generation of singers find their sound and confidence. \nFollow Allie on instagram @aboyle728 \nTim Poole\, a South Jersey native\, has been playing guitar for over 20 years and is the lead guitarist of The Slippery Band. Tim is a music “jack of all trades” who also produces music and teaches guitar in his spare time.
