Roxborough Orchestra Fall Concert Featuring Barbara Dever

Our November concert will feature the legendary voice of Barbara Dever. Pianist Jose Melendez from the Academy of Vocal Arts will be accompanying her; Dever’s daughter Shauna Dever will also join her for one song of the program.

Mezzo-soprano Barbara Dever, known for her powerful operatic performances, made her debut at the Metropolitan Opera in 1994 as Amneris in Aida. With 24 seasons at the Met, she has portrayed iconic roles such as Azucena in Il trovatore and Eboli in Don Carlo. Dever continues to captivate audiences worldwide and currently serves as a Distinguished Faculty Artist at Montclair State University.
