Philly Loves Lillith: A Tribute To Lillith Fair at the Fallser
Founded in 1997 by Canadian singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan, Lilith Fair was a groundbreaking all-female touring festival that ran through 1999, with a brief revival in 2010. Created to amplify women’s voices in an industry that routinely sidelined them, it showcased artists such as Sheryl Crow, Jewel, and Fiona Apple, becoming the highest-grossing festival of the late 1990s while directly confronting entrenched misogyny in the music business.
The Fallser Club’s Lilith tribute honors that legacy and answers this moment: a reminder that women are full human beings—artists, leaders, and decision-makers—who deserve autonomy, safety, and respect on every stage and in every space. In the spirit of our mission, this night centers on music, community care, and the power of voices rising together from every path and perspective.
