Peace Creeps

The Peace Creeps is the current musical project featuring Richard Bush, the captivating former frontman of The A’s. A staple of the Philadelphia scene in the ‘70s and early ‘80s, The A’s achieved national acclaim with hits like “After Last Night” and “A Woman’s Got The Power”—a track later covered by both Clarence Clemons and Jennifer Holliday.

Following two albums on Arista Records and extensive national touring, Bush transitioned into a period of prolific songwriting and recording. He eventually formed The Peace Creeps alongside guitarist John Marchiano, bassist Roy Fisher, and drummer Jeff Pancoast. The band is celebrated for the clever lyricism of Bush and songwriting partner AJay McLaughlin, blending Elvis Costello–style wit with the rock ‘n’ roll looseness of The Faces and the timeless pop sensibilities of The Beatles.
