Judy Paster and Matt Santry at The Fallser

May 1 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Judy Paster

Judy Paster is a Nashville-based, Pennsylvania-grown Americana artist whose music carries the soul of her story—honest, authentic, and full of hope. She started writing songs at age 8, using music as a way to process pain, faith, and a longing for peace, knowing even then that music was healing. Her father’s battle with Alzheimer’s and a season of living on the road shaped both her heart and her voice.

Judy’s Trio debut features two Grammy-winning members of The Time Jumpers, weaving fiddle, upright bass, and acoustic guitar into a rich, rootsy sound. Her songs have been featured in film and TV (Christmas Crush, The Holiday Exchange, Music City Misletoe), and she first gained national attention when Billboard called her a “truly on the rise” artist after the release of her debut EP.

Since moving to Nashville, she’s earned airplay, carved a space in the singer-songwriter scene, and received multiple awards including the 2021 Josie Music Award for Folk/Americana Artist of the Year and a Canadian Covenant Award. Judy has written and shared stages with some of Music City’s top writers, released five albums (Judy Paster, Stronger, Rubies, Rocks & Stones, Like Stardust, Road To The Sun), and is currently part of Women Behind the Lyrics—a national tour and reality TV series. Through it all, her music remains a steady companion—for herself and for others—offering light, strength, and something real in a world that too often sells the opposite.

Matt Santry

Matt Santry writes songs rooted in relatable moments like late-night overthinking, long drives, fleeting relationships, and the perspective that comes with getting older. His songs often begin with small, specific scenes like a long red light, coffee shared in silence, or the memory of someone who slipped out of your life as quickly as they arrived. Before writing his own music, Santry worked as a social worker with children with autism. One moment changed the way he saw music forever when one of his mostly nonverbal clients sang an entire Christmas song from memory. The experience sparked his path into songwriting and a lifelong search for the kind of human connection music can create. Today he performs his original music and live shows for audiences across the country while continuing to write and release new material. His work has since led to placements on Peacock, WWE, and HBO Max, while his voice has appeared in national campaigns for NBC’s The Voice, McDonald’s Australia, Dollar Shave Club, and Febreze.
