Davy Knowles, Live Blues at VIPARC

Whether playing acoustic, mandolin, National steel, or screaming electric guitar, Davy Knowles has an unmistakable style. Since bursting onto the scene with Back Door Slam’s critically acclaimed 2007 album Roll Away (“I heard the spirit ofJimi Hendrix” — Patrick McDonald, Seattle Times), Knowles released Coming Up for Air, produced by Peter Frampton.

He has shared the stage with Jeff Beck, The Who, Joe Bonamassa, Lynyrd Skynyrd, George Thorogood, Chickenfoot, and Joe Satriani, who called Davy “My favorite modern Bluesman.”

Knowles has several Top 5 Billboard Blues charting albums and TV appearances including Jimmy Kimmel Live and CBS Good Morning America. He was the first artist to perform live to the International Space Station from mission control in Houston, TX.
