What’s going on In RoxYunk
Shovel your neighbor’s walks if they can’t (or don’t), offer to shovel for folks who can. Ice is a dangerous nuisance and the best way we can prevent Ice from taking hold is by working together to prevent Ice from gaining a toehold.
Know your neighbors and shovel with them.
First off, yes, it’s going to snow. Saturday evening to Monday. Going to be cold too.
If you’re not ready (food, coffee, ice melt, shovels, beer, what have you), get supplies TODAY.
Second – DO NOT DRIVE. Really. Leave the roads open for emergencies. Park your car (if you have one). Leave it.
Third – Think twice before ordering delivery. Those folks shouldn’t be out on the roads either. Text me. I’ll come over and make you a grilled cheese.
Fourth – Everything on this list is likely to be cancelled so check the website before venturing out. We will post cancellations if we get them.
Finally, who’s up for Human Dog Sled Races on Sunday? Meet at Manayunk Bridge Garden, time TBD.

There’s a plethora of ways to discuss professional sports ranging from casual to analytical to academic/social/critical to delusional. None of that here now. Just thanks to the team and the fans for a year of joy and despair, the good emotions.
I will say that an Eagles’ tailgate day is one of the most honestly joyful and cohesive days Philadelphia gets. If you’ve never never been, even if you hate the game, try it once next fall. We can go together.
