Take heart, dear readers. Days are actually getting longer. Pitchers and catchers is around the corner as is the Schuylkill Shad Run.
As the boys put it succinctly “One way or another, this Darkness got to give.”

It was fun while it lasted.
There’s a plethora of ways to discuss professional sports ranging from casual to analytical to academic/social/critical to delusional. None of that here now. Just thanks to the team and the fans for a year of joy and despair, the good emotions.
I will say that an Eagles’ tailgate day is one of the most honestly joyful and cohesive days Philadelphia gets. If you’ve never never been, even if you hate the game, try it once next fall. We can go together.

Wissahickon Brewing’s excellent Open Mic hosted by Mark Menk is worth first and second visit. Go to sign up and play or just listen. It’s a nice scene. Sign up starts at 7.

Roxborough HS was vandalized this weekend with heavy coating of racist graffiti.
A bunch of folks are meeting on Ridge at the HS today at 2:30 for an impromptu sidewalk chalk session – positive energy and all are welcome here.
Come out if you can (short notice I know) and please pass this message along. This is one we should make sure folks know about, whether they can be there or not.
