Mike’s work is simply amazing. Strong, weird, and oddly tender. He’s done more work with the great band PLib than i can shake a stick at and a bunch for EDO too. Wissahickon Brewing’s excellent Open Mic hosted by Mark Menk is worth first and second visit. Go to sign up and play or just listen. It’s a nice scene. Sign up starts at 7.

Roxborough HS was vandalized this weekend with heavy coating of racist graffiti. 

A bunch of folks are meeting on Ridge at the HS today at 2:30 for an impromptu sidewalk chalk session – positive energy and all are welcome here. 

Come out if you can (short notice I know) and please pass this message along. This is one we should make sure folks know about, whether they can be there or not.

The people who did this do not speak for Roxborough. We should reply loudly and joyfully.
